Joan Thomas

Joan Thomas is a seasoned healthcare executive with a diverse background in operations and community relations. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Birmingham Green since February 2020, Joan has held various leadership roles at the same organization, including Administrator District Home and Director of Community Relations. Joan also served as the Chief Clinical Officer for Behavioral Health and briefly as Interim Administrator District Home in 2011. Joan's academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration from the Jack Welch Management Institute, a Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a degree in psychology from George Mason University College of Public Health, along with education from the American College of Healthcare Executives.
