Sean Davis

Sean Davis has held a variety of roles in the US Army and Word on Fire Catholic Ministries. In their current role with Word on Fire, they are the Senior Director of Technology and Information, as well as the Lead Software Engineer, responsible for all IT initiatives, new projects, maintenance of legacy software, and DevOps. Sean is also responsible for one Junior Software Engineer. Prior to this, they were a Program Manager with the US Army, where they recruited industry leading engineering professionals to lecture to over 1,000 engineer students, and was the primary author of the Center for Army Lessons Learned (CALL) Handbook 17-11 Brigade Engineer Battalion and BCT Integration. Sean was also a Facilities Engineer, Project Manager, Operations Manager/Rear Detachment Commander, Project Engineer, Engineering Manager/Platoon Leader, and Assistant Operations Manager/Company Executive Officer with the US Army. In these roles, they were responsible for the maintenance and renovation of facilities, the synchronization of equipment movement, training scenario development, and logistics for exercises, and the management and leadership of US and Korean Soldiers in engineering operations.

Sean Davis received their Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2010. Sean obtained their Texas EIT certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers in August of 2010. Sean then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering from Penn State University, which they completed in 2020.
