Paul Devencenzi began their work experience in 2014 at ShelterCare, where they held various positions, including Counselor/Advocate 1, Team Lead, Counselor/Advocate 2, and Assistant Program Manager. In these roles, they provided mental health support and case management services to young adults with psychiatric disabilities, facilitated outings and activities, and advocated for clients' needs.
In 2018, Paul joined Episcopal Community Services of San Francisco as a Housing Navigator and Tenancy and Stabilization Specialist. Paul assisted homeless households in locating and obtaining housing, developed housing location and stabilization plans, and acquired necessary documents for the housing process. Later, they became the Manager of Housing Navigation Services, overseeing the Housing Navigation team, ensuring compliance, and providing training for new staff members. Paul also facilitated collaboration with other housing-related agencies and government entities.
Currently, Paul is working as the Deputy Project Administrator at Bitfocus, a company that develops technology solutions for social challenges. Paul contributes to the creation of software that facilitates data-driven decision making in relation to homelessness.
Paul Devencenzi attended the University of Oregon from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Paul'sacademic focus was on psychology during their time at the university.
