David Kaplan

Software Engineer - Bitcoin Team - E2 at BitGo

David Kaplan started their work experience in 2016 as an intern at NASA, where they worked in the Software Engineering Division. David then became a Research Assistant at the University of Maryland College Park, where they held multiple roles between 2014 and 2018. David also served as Vice President at Primannum Honor Society from 2016 to 2017.

In 2018, Kaplan joined Brigham and Women's Hospital as a Research Assistant in Computational Pathology, where they developed the Python MDSINE2 backend and contributed to a research paper.

From 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Wood Mackenzie, specializing in React, TypeScript, Elasticsearch, and GraphQL.

Currently, Kaplan is employed as a Software Engineer at BitGo since 2022. In this role, they are involved in migrating internal systems and SDKs to the Partially Signed Bitcoin Transaction format, improving testing frameworks, and expanding reservation features.

David Kaplan attended Winston Churchill High School from 2010 to 2014. David then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland from 2014 to 2018.
