Michelle Neufeld

Michelle Neufeld has a significant background in compliance and financial crimes. Michelle is currently serving as the Deputy CCO and BSA Officer at BitGo since March 2021. Before that, they founded the Neufeld Advisory Group in December 2020 and held the role of Founder until March 2021. Prior to that, Michelle worked at Wells Fargo from December 2017 to December 2020, initially as the EVP Control Leader International and FIG, and later as the Control Leader International. Michelle also served as the EVP Chief AML/BSA Officer at Banc of California from January 2017 to June 2017. From July 2014 to December 2016, they held the position of Chief Compliance Officer at GE Capital and also served as the Financial Crimes Compliance Leader from July 2013 to December 2016. Michelle Neufeld was employed at Bank of America as the Managing Director and Chief Financial Crimes Executive North America from March 2007 to July 2013. Additionally, they worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a VP from an unspecified date in 1998 to 2007. Furthermore, they were a member of BSAAG from an unspecified date in 2009 to 2011.

Michelle Neufeld attended the University of Miami, where they earned a BA in Political Science and Government. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Doctor of Law (JD) degree at the New York Law School, completing their education between 1992 and 1995.
