Xinya Tan (陈歆雅)

Xinya Tan has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Xinya is currently working at BitGo as an Associate General Counsel - Commercial, Contracts & Technology (APAC). Prior to that, they worked at Binance as a Legal Counsel - Commercial & IP. Xinya also gained experience at K&L Gates, where they served as a Senior Associate (IP, Technology & Privacy) and an Associate (IP, Technology & Privacy).

Before joining K&L Gates, Xinya pursued a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property Law at Queen Mary University of London, where they focused on intellectual property issues in disruptive technology. During their time in London, they also interned at a RegTech start-up.

Xinya'searlier experience includes working at K&L Gates Straits Law LLC as a Commercial Litigation Associate, where they successfully led a private prosecution, strategized on business relationships, and negotiated settlements. Xinya began their career at Straits Law Practice LLC as a Practice Trainee.

Xinya Tan obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree in Law from Singapore Management University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. In 2012, they also participated in an exchange program at Reichman University, focusing on Law. Xinya then went on to pursue a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Intellectual Property Law at Queen Mary University of London, completing their studies from 2017 to 2018.
