Ben B.

Ben B. has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and companies. Ben started their career at RetailMeNot, where they worked as a Quality Engineer, conducting automated and manual testing for iOS and Android apps. Ben then transitioned to the role of Senior Software Engineer at RetailMeNot Labs, where they developed new products and integrations using a wide range of technologies. During this time, they also served as a coordinator for the college intern program.

In 2019, Ben joined Bestow Life Insurance as a Senior Software Engineer in Test, focusing on stabilizing and improving an essential accounting system. Ben implemented software engineering best practices and migrated the system to GitOps with ArgoCD, using Python and Kubernetes.

Later in 2019, Ben joined RxSaver as a Staff Software Engineer. Ben took on the role of the native app tech lead and was responsible for transforming the delivery of iOS and Android apps through the adoption of DevOps practices. RxSaver was acquired by GoodRx in 2021.

Most recently, Ben has joined Bitrise as a Solutions Engineer, where they have progressed to the roles of Senior Solutions Engineer and Solutions Engineering Team Lead for the US. The duration of their tenure at Bitrise provided is from April 2021 to the present.

Ben B. holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin. Ben has also obtained the SELI Brownbelt Alumnus certification from The SE Leadership Institute (SELI) in 2022.
