Payam Etminani

Payam Etminani is the CEO and Co-founder of Bitscopic Inc., a company dedicated to utilizing advanced big data and machine learning for biosurveillance, since November 2012. Prior to this role, Payam worked as a Program Specialist at the Department of Veterans Affairs, focusing on software liaison in public health and bio-surveillance from March 2010 to November 2012. Additional experience includes leadership positions at Newzstand as Director of Systems Engineering, istorez as Product Development & Engineering Manager, and Baha'i World Centre as Program Manager. Early career roles featured positions at Ericsson as Lead Software Engineer and Matrox as Software Design Engineer, as well as a software development role at cadnetics. Payam holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Computer Engineering from Concordia University, earned between 1996 and 2000.
