Gabriela Salinas

Gabriela Salinas has a diverse and extensive work experience in design and innovation. Gabriela is currently working as the Head of Design Strategy at Bitso. Prior to that, they worked as a Professor at Domestika. Gabriela is also the Co-Founder and CEO of SERVICE DESIGN MX, an initiative focused on promoting service design in Mexico. Gabriela has also served as a Professor at various institutions including Universidad Iberoamericana and Centro. In addition, they have held positions such as Director of Design and Head of Service Design & UX Research at GBM Grupo Bursátil Mexicano. Gabriela's earlier work experience includes roles as a Service Designer at BBVA Bancomer, an Innovation Strategist at Idea Couture Inc., and a Senior Designer at FACE. Throughout their career, they have been involved in a variety of design projects and has utilized human-centered design methodologies to uncover insights and generate design recommendations.

Gabriela Salinas obtained a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and New Media from CEDIM México in the years 2006 to 2010. Then, from 2011 to 2013, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Innovation at the same institution. Finally, in the year 2018 to 2019, they completed an Especialidad in Design of Tomorrow at CENTRO diseño | cine | televisión.
