Nicolas Doyle

Nicolas Doyle, Ph.D., currently serves as a Senior Bilingual User Experience Researcher at Bixal, where expertise contributes to creating data-driven customer experiences for Federal agencies. Prior to this role, Nicolas was the UX Research Lead at Hack for LA, driving usability testing and collaborating across multiple teams to align research with organizational goals. At Penn State University, significant research was conducted, resulting in over 20 studies that informed the development of language education tools and garnered multiple fellowships. Nicolas has also held various instructional and research positions, including training coordinators and project coordinators, demonstrating a strong commitment to education, user experience, and community service. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from Penn State University, a Master's in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from USC, and a Bachelor's in Spanish Language and Literature from Bowling Green State University.
