Brian Pollock has over 18 years of experience in the construction industry. Brian began their career in 2001 as an Engineering Intern for the Kansas Department of Transportation, where they evaluated steel erection, concrete placement, and soil foundations for change orders, reporting, and final inspection. Brian also performed ACI and KDOT testing and inspection of procedures, installations, and materials for numerous construction processes including site documentation, and acceptance of work. In 2003, Brian joined RMCI, Inc. as a Project Engineer/Superintendent where they completed all site QC/QA, daily reports, safety inspections, schedules, and required project documentation. Brian also coordinated all trades, subcontractors, material suppliers, inspectors, and engineering staff on the project sites including submittals, request for information, site documentation, cost-control, daily logs and as-built documents. In 2010, Brian moved to Layne Christensen (Reynolds Southwest) as a Project Manager. Brian then joined AS Horner, Inc. in 2012 as a Project Manager, where they provided all onsite management as necessary to complete a 25 million dollar heavy construction project including two 2500 LF concrete and curved plate girder bridges, MSE Walls, and paving in El Paso, TX. Brian also analyzed, developed, and successfully negotiated impacted; 1. 5 million dollar cost and acceleration proposal with TxDOT while completing the project on time. In 2014, Brian moved to Interstate Highway Construction, Inc. as a Division Manager and Senior Project Manager. Brian provided both office and onsite supervision of multiple Highway Projects in New Mexico and Oklahoma, and assisted in blending IHC, Inc. safety, equipment, and management policies and procedures to be successful in the New Mexico market. In 2017, Brian joined Bixby Electric, Inc. as President and Operations Manager.
Brian Pollock attended Iowa State University from 1995 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts and Sciences, Economics.
