Simone Mendonça

Simone Mendonça has over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. Simone began their career in 2006 as an Assistente de Atendimento at Pontofrio. In 2008, they worked as an Assistente Administrativo at Lajedo. Simone then joined XP Investimentos in 2010 as an Analista de Compliance. In 2014, they moved to ATIVA Investimentos and held two roles, Coordenadora de Compliance e Risco and Analista de Compliance e Controles Internos - Sênior. In 2017, Simone became an Analista de Compliance at Banco Modal. In 2018, they joined Hub Capital as a Coordenadora de Compliance and was responsible for internal audits and internal controls, evidence submission and requests from regulators, restructuring of the Compliance area, risk process identification and mapping, compliance reports, AML/governance analysis and training, communication with COAF, suitability restructuring and adaptation, policy and manual review and publication, and SIMBA project implementation for breach of secrecy response. In 2019, they worked as a Coordenadora de Compliance at Blu. In 2020, they joined XP Inc. as an Analista de Compliance - AML/Governança. Simone is currently working at BizCapital as a Coordenadora de Compliance and Especialista de Compliance.

Simone Mendonça has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Estácio, obtained in 2008-2012. Simone then completed a Pós-Graduação from Ibmec in 2013-2014 in the field of Gestão de Negócios. Simone is currently in the process of obtaining their Pós-graduação Lato Sensu - MBA from LARES/UFRJ in the field of Economia e Gestão da Sustentabilidade, which they began in 2022. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Analista de Ouvidoria from IBRC - Instituto Ibero-Brasileiro de Relacionamento com o Cliente in 2011, and a PQO - Compliance certification from BM&FBOVESPA in 2011.
