Ian Sweeney Pe

Ian Sweeney, PE, has extensive experience in the engineering field, currently serving as a Project Manager, Mechanical Engineer, and Mechanical Designer at Burdette, Koehler, Murphy & Associates, Inc. since July 2017. Prior experience includes interning as a Manufacturing Engineer at Silgan Plastics, where responsibilities involved troubleshooting and maintaining plastic Blow Molders, and conducting quality checks. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Penn State University, Ian contributed to research on Electrically Assisted Manufacturing, earning an honorable mention at a poster symposium. Earlier work experience includes serving as a Customer Service Assistant at Travel Centers of America, where recognition was received for outstanding customer service. Ian holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College.
