Samantha Facius

Samantha Facius serves as a Marketing Coordinator at Burdette, Koehler, Murphy & Associates, Inc., an MEP engineering firm, since July 2023. Previously, Samantha worked as a Marketing Assistant for the University of Maryland Athletic Department, specializing in game day promotions and budget management from August 2022 to July 2023. As a Strategic Marketing and Fan Engagement Intern with Maryland Made Terps, and a Barry and Mary Gossett Fellow under Dr. Andrew Thompson, Samantha developed valuable marketing skills from August 2021 to July 2023. Additional experience includes a Communication Public Relations Intern position at the University of Maryland, where graphic design and social media content creation were key tasks, and a Social Media Marketing Assistant role at GoGradyMedia, focusing on audience engagement for a podcast. Samantha's early career included various roles at Glory Days Grill, starting as a hostess and advancing to a server. Samantha holds a degree in Communications with a focus on Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from the University of Maryland, graduated in May 2023.
