Rick Huizing

Rick Huizing is an experienced developer currently working as a Java Developer at BKWI since November 2021 and serving as a Consultant at Codeclan since October 2021. Previous experience includes roles as a Developer at Pennie Solutions from July 2021 to September 2022 and as a Software Engineer at Quintor from September 2020 to May 2021, where projects focused on simulated traffic cooperation utilizing Reinforcement Learning techniques. Rick also worked as a Back-end Developer at KPN ICT Consulting in early 2019, contributing to web application development with Flask. Earlier career experience involved a position as a Store Stocker at Albert Heijn from February 2016 to March 2017. Rick is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Groningen (September 2023 - July 2025) after earning a Bachelor’s degree in the same field (September 2022 - July 2023) and a Bachelor’s in Software Engineering from Hanze (2016 - July 2020), alongside a minor in Computer Science from King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi in 2018.
