Brian Smith

Brian Smith has over 20 years of experience in the purchasing and inventory control field. Brian began their career in 1990 as a Customer Service Representative at Applied Industrial Technologies. In 1997, they moved to Kaman Distribution in the same role. In 1998, they became a Buyer at MTS Packaging. In 1999, they took a Buyer role at Autoprod Inc., where they developed and documented new purchasing SOPs and assisted in the implementation of a new MRP software. In 2005, they returned to B&L Cremation Systems Inc. as a Materials Manager, where they oversaw purchasing and created an inventory system. From 2007 to 2016, they worked at Monin, where they were a Purchasing Manager, a Sr. Inventory Analyst, and an Inventory Analyst. Finally, they returned to B&L Cremation Systems Inc. in 2019 as a Purchasing Manager, managing Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Receiving for a large Crematory Manufacturing Plant.

Brian Smith obtained their High School Diploma from Boca Ciega High between 1980 and 1984, having completed standard courses. Brian also has certifications in Effective Negotiating training from 2014, as well as being factory trained with practical experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic products.
