Rachel Spivey

Rachel Spivey currently serves as an Advisory Board Member for The Black Tech Collective and has been a key leader at Google since 2010, where Rachel holds the position of Director of Retention & Progression for the Stay & Thrive team. In this role, Rachel leads a team of 26 to ensure equitable retention and progression rates across the company. Throughout their career at Google, Rachel has also held various leadership roles including Global Black & Latinx Community Inclusion Lead, where significant initiatives were developed to enhance racial awareness among employees, and Diversity Core Engagement Platform Project Manager, which involved creating a platform to connect and recognize contributions to diversity efforts. Additionally, Rachel is an Angel Investor with the Black Angel Group, investing in startups focused on ethical technology solutions, and previously worked as a Retail Bank Management Associate at PNC. Rachel holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Hampton University.
