Phil René

Phil René has over 10 years of professional work experience. In 2020, they began working as the VP of Engineering for Black Crow AI. From 2015 to 2020, they held various roles at <intent>, including VP Engineering, Director/Data Engineer, and Data Engineer. From 2012 to 2011, they were a Software Developer at CENX, Inc., working on big data problems and software architecture using Clojure. In 2011, they worked as a Mobile Developer at WhereCloud Inc. From 2009 to 2007, they held various roles including Junior Software Engineer at iWatchLife, Junior Web Developer at University of Ottawa, Junior Application Programmer/Developer at Fenix Solutions, and Lan Administrator Assistant at the Government of Canada.

Phil René attended Mont Sainte-Anne from 1998 to 2004. Phil then attended Cegep de Drummondville from 2004 to 2006, earning a degree in Sciences Pures et Appliquees. Finally, they attended the University of Ottawa from 2006 to 2010, earning a BS in Computer Science.
