Damien McDuffie, MFA, serves as a Visiting Artist Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and contributes to the MIT & Black Public Media Visiting Artists Program. McDuffie is the Founder and Creative Director of Black Terminus AR, a studio dedicated to Black art and cultural archives, while also being a Board Member at Black Cultural Zone. As a freelance writer and editor for Black Terminus, McDuffie covers diverse topics and has written for multiple notable publications. With a background in strategy and partnerships co-founding Wine & Bowties and previously serving as an archivist and brand strategist for the Dr. Huey P. Newton Foundation, McDuffie has demonstrated leadership in both educational and community engagement initiatives, notably as Co-Founder of Cristo Rey De La Salle East Bay High School. Educational credentials include a Master of Fine Arts from Columbia University and a BA in Political Science and African American Studies from Loyola Marymount University.
