Marian Spencer has extensive work experience in various leadership and managerial roles. Marian served as the Director of Operations, People, and Culture at Black Dog Institute since 2013. Prior to that, they were the General Manager at the Centre for Policy Development, where they were responsible for the start-up, governance, and operations of the organization. Marian also worked as a Campaign Manager at The Wilderness Society Australia and as the Manager for London and the South East at British Trust for Conservation Volunteers. In these roles, they demonstrated skills in project management, HR management, financial management, fundraising support, and grant administration.
Marian Spencer obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Murdoch University between 1989 and 1991. Prior to that, they attended Methodist Ladies College from 1979 to 1983 for high school.
