Vera Kravchuk is an experienced UX and Product Designer who has worked with various companies and organizations. Vera is currently serving as the Lead UX & Product Designer at Black Dog Institute since July 2021. Prior to this, they founded The UX Philosophy in 2020, where they provided UX training with successful outcomes for students. Vera also worked as the Lead Instructor for UX, UI, & Product Design at Sydney Community College from February 2018. Vera has also held the position of Lead UX & Product Designer at Humanforce from March 2018 to June 2021. Additionally, Vera has worked as the Lead Instructor and Course Content Creator at Academy Xi from May 2017 to November 2020, where they taught UI Design and various UX courses. Before that, they served as a Senior UX & Product Designer at Weber Shandwick from March 2016 to March 2018 and as a Senior UX Designer at Uprise.co in February and March 2016. Vera started their career as a UX Designer at Universal Magazines in September 2013 and also served as a UX/UI Designer at Social Check™ from July to September 2013.
Vera Kravchuk pursued various educational opportunities throughout their career. In 2010, they attended Billy Blue College of Design and obtained a Bachelor of Visual Communication degree in 2013. Following that, in 2014, Vera enrolled in General Assembly for Front End Web Development studies in the field of UX. In 2015, they furthered their education at General Assembly, completing a Lean UX program. Most recently, in 2022, they undertook a Product Management course at General Assembly. Additionally, Vera holds a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance, although the specific date of achievement is not provided.
