Carrie Moser

Carrie Moser, M.A., currently serves as the Director of Engagement at Black Hills Works since October 2019, where responsibilities include fostering relationships with external and internal partners and cultivating donor relations within the business community. Previously, as Executive Director of the Emergency Residence Project from August 2016 to June 2019, Carrie transformed operations through innovative shelter models and expanded service areas. As Housing Director at Friends of the Family from October 2011 to August 2016, Carrie established a supportive housing program and raised community awareness about homelessness and domestic violence. Early career experience includes serving as TLP Program Coordinator at YSS from March 2002 to October 2011, focusing on youth homelessness issues and program performance measurement. Carrie holds a Master of Arts in Philanthropy and Non-profit Development from the University of Northern Iowa and bachelor's degrees in Sociology and Psychology from Iowa State University and the University of Northern Iowa, respectively.
