Lisa Black

Lisa Black is a Partner at Black Marjieh & Sanford LLP, where Lisa has been providing creative, cost-effective, and resolution-focused solutions to clients since June 2017. With nearly 25 years of experience as a civil litigation defense attorney, Lisa specializes in the defense of property and casualty matters in both Federal and New York State courts, handling trials and appeals. Prior to this role, Lisa served as a Partner at Traub Lieberman Straus & Shrewsberry LLP from June 2003 to June 2017 and worked as an Assistant Corporation Counsel in Special Federal Litigation for the New York City Law Department from 1998 to 2003. Lisa holds a JD from New York Law School (1995-1998) and a BA in Philosophy and Law from Binghamton University (1992-1995).
