Caleb Jacobs

Caleb Jacobs is an experienced geologist with a strong background in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Regional Geologist at Black Mountain Oil & Gas since September 2019, Caleb previously held the position of Geologist II at Concho and Lead Geologist at RSP Permian, where responsibilities included geosteering wells and training early career geologists. Earlier experience includes roles at Matador Resources Company and Finley Resources Inc., where expertise in exploration, well planning, and database management was developed. Academic qualifications include a Master's Degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from Texas Christian University and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Geology from The University of Texas at Austin.
