Joquina Reed

Professional Speaker at Black Speakers Collection

Joquina Reed is the founder of J Reed Consulting LLC, established in January 2021. Since October 2021, Joquina has also served as the host of the Divesting from Whiteness Podcast, aimed at facilitating discussions on divesting from Whiteness and white supremacy culture. As a professional speaker with the Black Speakers Collection since December 2021, Joquina contributes to increasing diversity in speaking panels and organizations. Previously, Joquina was a facilitator for ReadySet from December 2020 to October 2021 and held dual roles as Director of Forensics and Faculty Member at Louisiana State University from August 2016 to December 2020. Additionally, Joquina was the curator and creator of HEY SIS, a networking organization for African American women, from August 2018 to August 2020. Joquina's academic background includes multiple master's degrees in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Louisiana Monroe, along with expertise in teaching various Communication courses at Texas A&M International University from August 2009 to June 2016.
