Carl Petz

Carl Petz has extensive experience in employee communications, marketing, and corporate communications, currently serving as Vice President of Employee Communications at Black & Veatch since August 2005. In this role, Carl leads a team responsible for designing and implementing communication strategies that align with the company’s Purpose, Vision, and Values. Previously, Carl held multiple leadership roles at Black & Veatch, including Vice President of Enterprise Marketing & Communications Leader, Associate Vice President of Enterprise Marketing Leader, and Marketing Director for various sectors. Prior to joining Black & Veatch, Carl worked in corporate communications at Aquila from 1993 to 2005. Carl holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from Fort Hays State University.
