Melia Rayner

Melia Rayner is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in brand marketing and community building. Currently serving as a Mixing Board Community Member since September 2024, Melia previously held various roles at Blackbird, including Head of Communications and Communications Manager, where the focus was on enhancing public narrative and supporting startups. As a co-founder of The Community Collective, Melia facilitates learning and support among community builders globally. Notable past experiences include coaching for the Startmate Student Fellowship, serving as a Senior Communications Strategist at Character, and managing editorial work at Est Living. Melia's background also encompasses digital marketing roles and a freelance career as a writer and content strategist, complemented by a degree in Film and Television from Swinburne University of Technology.
