Brian Carey

Brian Carey is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in environmental consulting and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Geologist at Blackburn Consulting since August 2022, Brian has previously held senior roles at Terracon and Conestoga-Rovers & Associates, where responsibilities included overseeing site investigations and managing project budgets. As Principal/Owner of Carey Environmental Consulting, project management was focused on various environmental assessments. Brian's background also includes significant technical oversight for soil and groundwater investigations at military installations and retail petroleum sites throughout the U.S. and internationally. A graduate of California State University-Sacramento with a Bachelor of Science in Geology, Brian has built a career marked by their expertise in environmental remediation and regulatory compliance.
