Yan Azdoud

Yan Azdoud's work experience includes being the Chief Technology Officer at Blackdot since August 2021, and previously serving as the Chief Architect from October 2018 to August 2021. At Project Canary, Yan was the Chief Scientific Officer from December 2020 to July 2021. Yan was also a Co-Founder and COO at Troposphere Monitoring, which was acquired by Project Canary, from January 2018 to December 2020. Prior to that, Yan worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Johns Hopkins University from 2014 to 2017.

Yan Azdoud received their bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay in 2008. Yan then pursued a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, completing it in 2010. Following this, Yan Azdoud attended KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology) from 2010 to 2014, where they earned their Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to their university studies, Yan Azdoud attended Lycée Saint-Louis from 2005 to 2007, though no specific degree or field of study is provided for this period.
