Danita Rucks Oliver has extensive work experience in various leadership roles focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Currently, they are serving as the Vice President of Global Diversity Culture & Belonging at Blackhawk Network. Prior to that, they were the Head of Global Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging at the same company.
In 2022, Danita founded their own consulting firm called Rucks Oliver Consulting LLC, where they serve as the Principal.
Before that, they worked at RingCentral as the Director of Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. In this role, they were responsible for designing and implementing a global DEI strategy, developing inclusive workforce programs, and embedding DEI best practices throughout the organization. Danita also held a finance technology operations management position at RingCentral, where they oversaw receivables and achieved exceptional cash attainment objectives.
Danita's previous experience includes a long tenure at IBM, where they held various roles. Danita served as the Strategic Outsourcing AR Leader, leading a specialized global accounts receivable team. Danita also worked as a Financial Transition Program Manager, ensuring smooth customer asset and financial integration. Additionally, they served as a Global Services Brand Focal, managing client relationships in the Financial Services industry. Danita's career at IBM began as a Senior Analyst in Commercial Accounts.
Danita Rucks Oliver has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Winston-Salem State University. Danita also completed a program on Diversity and Inclusion in 2020 at Cornell University. In 2023, they are expected to attend Cornell University for the Modern Chief Diversity Officer Program.
