Gourav Narang

Gourav Narang has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Gourav is currently the Head of Cloud & Software Engineering at Blackmagic Design, where they lead the development of cloud-based software solutions. Prior to this, they served as the Cloud & Software Engineering Lead for the same company.

Before joining Blackmagic Design, Gourav worked as an Instructor at GolangLambda.com, where they taught courses on Golang programming. Gourav also gained experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Latitude Financial Services, where they contributed to the development of REST and event-driven services for the company's credit card and loan products.

In addition to their technical roles, Gourav has worked as a Consultant at Servian, where they managed design teams and contributed to the development of enterprise data solutions. Gourav also served as a DevOps Engineer and AWS Architect at Servian, leading various projects for clients such as Telstra and Illion.

Earlier in their career, Gourav worked as a DevOps Engineer and Senior Project Engineer at Wipro Limited, where they played key roles in automating infrastructure deployments and developing monitoring systems. Gourav also gained experience as a Software Developer at BBBInfra Ventures Pvt. Ltd., where they developed brand strategies and e-commerce websites.

Gourav's career began with internships at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and STPI (Software Technology Parks of India) under the Ministry of Communication & Information Technology.

Overall, Gourav Narang has demonstrated expertise in cloud computing, software engineering, Golang programming, and DevOps practices throughout their career.

Gourav Narang completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science from Rayat Institute of Engineering & IT (PTU). Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Managing High Potentials, Project Management Simplified, Entrepreneurship Foundations, Excel: Creating Business Budgets, Text Analytics and Predictions with Python Essential Training, and The Six Morning Habits of High Performers from LinkedIn. All of these certifications were obtained between April 2020 and July 2020.
