Umut Guvenc

Umut Guvenc, PhD, is an experienced FPGA Design Engineer at Blackmagic Design since September 2021. Prior to this role, Umut contributed to CSIRO's Data61 as both a Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Fellow from July 2017 to September 2021. Umut's earlier experience includes a significant tenure at TÜBİTAK BİLGEM from August 2005 to June 2017, where responsibilities included roles as Principal Researcher, Senior Researcher, and Researcher in ASIC Design Engineering. Academically, Umut holds a PhD in Electronics Engineering, an MSc in Electronics Engineering, and a BSc in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, all from Istanbul Technical University, with the highest degree obtained in 2016.
