Mark Walker

Mark Walker has extensive experience in the field of education and public services, currently serving as the HE Programme Leader for Professional Policing and Programme Leader for Public Services Policing at Blackpool and The Fylde College since July 2019. Additionally, Mark has held roles at Pearson as an Expert Examiner for Uniformed Protective Services and Sport, overseeing various assessments in these disciplines since October 2018. Previous positions include Programme Leader for Public Services, Engineering, and Computing at Lytham Sixth Form College and Programme Leader and Lecturer in Public Services and Sport at Blackpool and The Fylde College. Mark's career in public service began as a Police Officer with Lancashire Constabulary from 2003 to 2006. Academically, Mark holds a Post Graduate Compulsory Education (PGCE) degree and a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Exercise Science from Lancaster University.
