Dan Klein

Dan Klein is an experienced data and analytics professional currently serving as Director of the EDP Core Framework at BlackRock since February 2022, where responsibilities include developing the Aladdin Enterprise Data Platform to enhance data delivery for clients. Previously, Dan held the title of Director for DataOps Engineering at BlackRock, leading initiatives for index data pipeline construction. At GE, from August 2019 to February 2022, Dan was the Director of Data & Analytics, overseeing a global team to manage GE’s Finance Data Lake platform. Prior roles at GE Capital from October 2007 to July 2019 involved serving as Principal Data & Information Architect, where Dan designed data warehouses and lakes to meet operational and analytic reporting needs. Dan holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from NYU Stern School of Business and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Computer Science from Union College.
