Jay Gillespie

Jay Gillespie is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in the film industry. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Marketing at Blackstone since April 2019, Jay previously founded Worker Bee Films, where expertise in directing, shooting, and editing short films was applied for various clients. Prior roles include Cinematographer and Video Editor at Addison, where work involved corporate films for major clients, and Cinematographer/Editor at Winton/duPont Films. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Editor at Plain Jane Productions. Jay holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Electronic Arts from Bard College, earned in 2008.
