Philip E. Barr

Philip E. Barr, CFA, CAIA is a finance professional with extensive experience in investment strategy and product development. Currently, Philip serves as Vice President of Strategy for the GP Stakes Group at Blackstone since March 2023. Previously, Philip held various roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from July 2014 to March 2023, including Executive Director of Strategy & Integration for Campbell Global, and Vice President of Global Product Strategy & Development, focusing on investment strategy analytics and platform governance. Earlier career experiences include positions as Portfolio Manager for the Student Investment Fund at Union College, as well as internships at The Ayco Company, John Hancock Financial Services, and Ameriprise Financial Services. Philip holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Managerial Economics and Spanish & Hispanic Studies from Union College, completed in 2014, and has further education at Clarkson University Graduate School.
