Brian Platino

Brian Platino is an accomplished entrepreneur and engineer with extensive experience in the audiovisual integration industry. As the Founder and CEO of Blacktee Systems since September 2011, Brian has focused on enhancing usability for complex multimedia systems in events and education. Prior to this, Brian served as an Applications Engineer at Crestron Electronics, managing enterprise control software, and as a Design Engineer and Automation Programmer at Avidex, where responsibilities included system design and project management. Earlier roles included work as a Systems Technician for live concerts with various touring acts and as a Lead Installer/Programmer specializing in system calibration. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Business from the State University of New York at Fredonia and an Associate of Applied Science in Music/Electronics from Monroe Community College.
