Mark Crane

Mark Crane is a Partner at General Catalyst since February 2019, contributing to various investment and board roles across the technology and cybersecurity sectors. Current investments include Wordsmith AI, focused on AI for legal professionals; Apiiro, specializing in application security; and TravelPerk, aimed at enhancing global business travel solutions. Mark also serves on the boards of AuthZed, Bugcrowd, and Blackwell Security, Inc., with each company addressing critical issues in scalable authorization, crowdsourced cybersecurity, and healthcare security, respectively. Mark's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in History from Amherst College, completed in 2011, and prior studies at Belmont Hill School.
