Jared Jensen

Jared Jensen has over 20 years of experience in engineering, with expertise in DSP, FPGA, and comms engineering. Jared is the co-founder and CEO of Blackwire Signals, LLC, where they continue to develop FPGAs for DSP applications. Jared spent nine years at Charon Technologies as a DSP/Comms Engineer and Director, where they opened and built the company's Utah office and was responsible for recruiting engineers, interfacing with universities, and partnering on research. Prior to this, they worked at Applied Security, Inc. for seven years as a DSP/Comms Engineer and was involved in DSP implementation and PCB design. Jared was also an ASIC Engineer at the Department of Defense for three years and worked as a Mixed Signal VLSI Engineer at AMI Semiconductors for a short period.

Jared Jensen earned their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University in 2000. Jared then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering from 2003 to 2005.
