Ken George

Ken George is an experienced professional in petroleum engineering and materials science, currently serving as a Senior Petroleum Engineer at Blade Energy Partners since September 2014, focusing on material selection and failure analysis. Previous roles include Process Engineer and Development Engineer at Singnicast, where optimization studies for metal castings were conducted, and temporary positions involving CNC machining and programming. As a Plant Metallurgist at B&G Manufacturing, Ken George supervised heat treatment processes for various metal alloys. Additional experience encompasses work as a Materials Scientist for Milsys Technologies on US Army projects, Research Engineer at Fracture Technology Associates specializing in fracture mechanics, and Materials Engineer for Naval Air Systems Command supporting F18 and V22 development programs. Academically, Ken George holds a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Virginia and two Bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University, with a focus on stress analysis and fracture mechanics.
