Scott Löhr has a long and distinguished career in software engineering and firmware development. Scott began their career in 1997 as an Embedded Software Engineer at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, where they were responsible for the design, development, implementation, integration, and life-cycle maintenance and support of flight critical embedded firmware systems, device drivers, and communication interfaces. In 2004, they moved to Kyocera Communications, Inc. as a Software Engineer. In 2005, they joined Texas Instruments as an Embedded Software Design, where they were a low-level driver expert and implemented boot loaders over SPI, UART, I2C, and USB. In 2006, they began working as an Embedded Software Consultant. In 2013, they joined Blast Motion, Inc. as a Senior Firmware Engineer, where they were singularly responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the firmware for the wearable tech devices which capture and process precise sports metrics.
Scott Löhr obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from UC San Diego between 1995 and 1998. Scott also obtained a B.S. in Computer Science from UC San Diego during the same time period. No additional certifications have been obtained.
