Jennifer Johnson has been working in the field of biotechnology for over 20 years. Jennifer is currently the VP, Legal & Intellectual Property at BlazeBioscience. Jennifer has also worked at Syngenta Biotechnology, Inc. as the Head, IP Biology & Traits.

Jennifer has extensive experience with patents and other intellectual property matters pertaining to the biotechnology industry. Jennifer is a strong leader and strategic thinker, able to devise and implement holistic corporate biotechnology intellectual property strategy. Jennifer has also managed outside counsel, including opinion, interference, opposition and patent litigation counsel.

Jennifer is a Global strategist and direct communicator who has established extensive collaborative internal and external relationships. Jennifer is a productive member of any team they work on and is proactive in their management style.

Jennifer Johnson has a J.D. from University of Washington School of Law, an M.S. in Virology, Retrovirology, FeLV, retroviral transcription and cytopathic regulation from University of Washington, and a B.A. in Microbiology & Immunology from University of California, Berkeley.
