Kristin Geer

Kristin Geer has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Kristin is currently the Chief Executive Officer of App Cats since April 2023. Prior to this, they co-founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of Bleachr LLC, a sports tech brand that developed sports apps to enhance the fan experience. Kristin also worked as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Northwestern - St. Paul from July 2018 to June 2019.

In 2005, Kristin founded the Cancurables Foundation, a nonprofit organization aimed at raising funds for cancer research. Kristin served as the Founder/Executive Director for ten years, during which the organization raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for cancer research.

In their earlier career, Kristin worked as the Founder/President of Wall to Wall Media, a television production company, where they produced syndicated TV programming and secured contracts with major corporations. Kristin also had a successful career as an Emmy-award winning investigative reporter and news anchor, working for KSTP TV, WXXA Fox 23, and KTHI/KVLY TV, where they received several awards for their investigative reporting.

Overall, Kristin Geer has extensive experience in leadership roles, entrepreneurship, teaching, and media, with a particular focus on sports and cancer research fundraising.

Kristin Geer completed their education at three institutions. Kristin attended Perham High School until 1987, after which they enrolled at Concordia College, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with minors in Political Science and English. In 2015 to 2016, they pursued a Master's Degree at The Johns Hopkins University, specializing in Communications with a dual concentration in Digital Communications and Health Communications.
