Pascal Azócar has a wide range of work experience. Starting in 2007, they worked as a Freelance Translator and Interpreter for clients such as Al Jazeera and the Center for Investigative Reporting. Pascal also worked as a Freelance Archaeologist from 2008 to 2009, leading and participating in state funded scientific research and Cultural Resource Management for the private sector. From 2009 to 2014, they worked as a Music Curator and volunteered as a DJ at UC Berkeley's KALX radio station. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as an Apple Maps Analyst - Latin America Country Lead and a Maps Quality Analyst for Pro Unlimited and Welocalize, respectively. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Team Lead Project Manager at Translations.com. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Services Strategist at Lilt. Finally, from 2020 to 2022, they were a Sr. Account Manager at TransPerfect and is currently a Sr. Customer Success Manager at BLEND Localization.
Pascal Azócar obtained a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology with special mention in Archaeology from the Universidad de Chile in 2010. In 2012, they attended a Graduate Course in Anthropology and Archaeology at the University of California, Berkeley. In 2005, they obtained a Cambridge First Certificate for ESL from the University of Cambridge.
