Nels Peterson

Nels Peterson has a diverse range of work experience. Nels started their career as the owner of Three Bears Coffee and Tea Company from 1997 to 2001. Following that, they worked as the Principal Designer at KWA Electrical Services, Inc. & Nightfall Landscape Lighting from 2002 to 2013. Nels then became a National Design, Sales and Support Specialist at Sterling Lighting from 2020 to 2022. After that, they served as the National Brand Ambassador and Design Specialist at Sterling Lighting for a brief period of time. Additionally, Nels worked as a Principal at Nordic Lighting from 2007 to the present, where they specialize in landscape, holiday, and special event lighting design. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President & Brand Leader at Blingle!, a premier outdoor lighting company.

Nels Peterson attended the University of Minnesota Duluth from 1982 to 1983, but did not obtain a degree. Nels then attended the University of Minnesota from 1983 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art History.
