Sunder Singam has a diverse work experience in various leadership positions in the technology industry. Sunder started their career as a Software Engineer in Uptron and IBM from 1988 to 1992. Sunder then worked at Cypress Semiconductor as a Sr. SW Engineer and Systems Analyst from 1994 to 1997. Sunder later joined iPass, where they held multiple roles, including Director of Engineering in Bangalore and Director of Architecture. During their time at iPass, they led the evolution of the company's dial-up network and implemented a secure encryption layer. In 2008, Sunder joined Amazon.com India as the Director of Engineering for Digital Technology and Kindle, leading a team in Chennai responsible for innovative products and services. Sunder co-founded Calibrace Inc. in 2012, where they built a talent acquisition software product and focused on the Indian market, acquiring over 270 customers. Sunder exited the company in 2016 and helped re-brand the product. Sunder then joined Amazon as the Director of Engineering for Kindle, leading teams that built Kindle apps on various platforms, until 2020. In 2020, they joined Ally.io as the Vice President of Engineering, working on a SaaS startup that focused on goal achievement and employee engagement. Currently, Sunder is the Vice President of Engineering at Blink Health.
Sunder Singam holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from North Dakota State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
