Tom O'Dea

Tom O'Dea has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Tom is the Co-Founder, CEO, and VP Product of Blissbook, a company that specializes in creating and maintaining digital employee handbooks. Prior to that, they worked at Rocket Whale, Inc. as Principal, VP Product, and UI/UX Designer, where they focused on creating user-friendly web and mobile apps. Tom also participated in Flashpoint at Georgia Tech, a business creation and innovation process, as a Batch 4 Participant. Tom has experience in the entertainment industry, having worked as an Actor at the Whole World Improv Theatre. Tom also has entrepreneurial experience as the Owner of Very Funny Gifts, Inc., where they manufactured and marketed scented candles for men. In addition, Tom has held managerial positions, including General Manager of Laser Design, Inc. and Director of Operations at 3DScanCo, Inc. During their tenure at Hewitt Associates, they worked as a Systems Configuration Analyst and Quality Assurance Analyst, managing projects and client requirements for a 401(k) benefits system. Tom also co-founded the Atlanta Amateur Roller Hockey Association, LLC, and worked as an Assistant Webmaster, Assistant DBA, and Software Engineer at the Georgia Tech Research Institute.

Tom O'Dea obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Georgia Institute of Technology between 1999 and 2003.
