Doug Beard

Doug Beard is an experienced Superintendent in the commercial construction industry, currently working at Block Companies since August 2015, where responsibilities include overseeing project builds in and around Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Prior to this role, Doug held positions as Superintendent at F. H. Myers Construction Corp, Deumite Construction, Cangelosi Ward General Contractors LLC, and Block Companies, gaining extensive experience in managing construction projects. Doug also worked at David Dry Company, where the focus was on infrastructure development for a multi-building apartment complex, and at Burns Construction of Baton Rouge, where Doug transitioned from a union carpenter to a superintendent. Earlier career highlights include ownership and partnership at T&R Construction and military service as a Corporal E-4 in the U.S. Army. Doug holds a High School Diploma from Maurepas School.
