Wynn Bowers

Wynn Bowers has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Currently, Wynn is serving as the Principal Electronics Engineer at Block Engineering, where they are responsible for digital logic design and simulation using various programming languages and tools. Prior to this, Wynn worked as a Sr. Electrical Engineer at Block Engineering, again focusing on digital logic design and testing for infrared lasers.

Before joining Block Engineering, Wynn worked at Rumble Development as an Embedded Software and FPGA Logic Design Engineer. In this role, they developed firmware for embedded processors and designed and tested FPGA designs for video processing.

Prior to Rumble Development, Wynn had a long and successful tenure at Panavision, Advanced Digital Imaging Group. They held various roles, including Advanced Product Development Engineer, Member of Technical Staff, Director Electronics R&D, and Electronic Engineer/Programmer. Their work at Panavision involved designing and building HDTV products for the motion picture industry, developing state-of-the-art video assist systems, managing a team of engineers, and creating electronic control systems for film cameras.

Overall, Wynn Bowers has a strong background in digital logic design, simulation, and testing, with a focus on applications in the motion picture industry. They have extensive experience with programming languages such as C, VHDL, Assembly, and have worked with various communication protocols and technologies.

Wynn Bowers earned an AB degree with honors in Physics from Harvard University, completing their education in 1985.
