Malek Besbes

Malek Besbes is an experienced Division Manager in Development Mechanical Engineering at BLOCK Transformatoren-Elektronik GmbH since January 2018. Responsibilities include leadership of the mechanical engineering division, optimization of workflow between development and production, and serving as the primary contact for mechanical design matters with various stakeholders. Prior roles include Mechanical Design Engineer positions at BDM - BJM Dubus Machines and BLOCK Transformatoren-Elektronik GmbH, where Malek developed mechanical parts for railway transformers and special machines. Additional experience includes academic roles at Leibniz Universität Hannover and IPH - Institut für Integrierte Produktion Hannover, supporting education and research in mechanical design. Malek holds a Diplom Ingenieur/Master of Science in Maschinenbau from Leibniz Universität Hannover.
